PET POLICY: Most of our units are pet friendly, at least for most pets. You must tell us in advance if a pet will be traveling with you and a description of your pet. There will be an additional $500 deposit per pet, to cover possible damage and special deep cleaning. In most cases this will be fully refunded. However, if deep cleaning and extensive hair removal is required, you will forfeit your entire deposit.
REPAIR ALLOWANCE: On any single trip, you are permitted to spend a maximum of $100 to repair/replace a necessary item of the RV. If it is necessary for you to do this, you must: 1) save the receipt for us, 2) save the replaced part or item for us. In the event the cost is greater then $100, this will be repaid to client only with prior approval. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
ROADS: You may travel only on paved designated highways and roads. Highways such as the Denali Hwy are off limits except for the few paved miles on each end. If you are in a designated camp area with gravel roads, you may travel on them, but honor the speed limit we impose of 5 mph. Any damage to the RV due to vibration from bad roads will be deducted from your deposit and most likely result in a claim against your insurance company.
DESIGNATED DRIVERS ONLY: Only drivers who are recorded on the rental paper work and application are allowed to drive the motor homes.
NO EXCEPTIONS. NO SMOKING: No smoking of any kind is allowed in the RV or doorways. No incense or candles can be used in the RV. Be extremely careful of campfires, no smoke can be blown into the RV. If there is any sign of smoking or smoke odor in the RV, your deposit will be forfeited to cover the expense of required deep cleaning.
CANCELLATION: Give us 30 days prior notice and your deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel with less then 30 days prior notice, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. The additional 50% refund will be issued in the form of a certificate that will be accepted by us the same as cash for the next 3 years.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations require a minimum deposit of $500 for both Motor Homes and Travel Trailers. The balance will be estimated based on the unit you desire, dates, and etc. The balance must also be paid prior to 30 days of your trip. Any adjustments will be made upon your return. Your initial deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your return, along with a statement for any deductions.
CLEANING: We at Alaska Fun Time RV believe that you should be able to enjoy your trip to the utmost, without undue worry about leaving your RV spotless upon your return. Do not worry at all about washing the exterior; our staff will take care of that. Concerning the interior, we will do one hours worth of basic cleaning without a deposit deduction. This will take care of cleaning for 90% of our clients. We will be forced to charge for more extreme cleaning requirements, such as carpets requiring shampoo, carpet or upholstery stains, curtains and of course smoke odor. Our in house cleaning rate is $50 per hour.
